November Product Empties

I’m back with my product empties posts finally! Haven’t done one of these in ages, as I went away on a long summer and then I was actually going to do one for October but ended up nor liking the photos I took for them and forgot to photograph them again.. lol. I decided to these posts a monthly thing now as its way easier to keep up with them like this and makes it more organised. There are loads of products in this month’s empties as I’ve really been trying to use up my beauty stash lately as it’s really overflowed recently!

  1. Sephora Green Tea Face Mask

This is a sheet mask that I had picked up when I was in Turkey as there is a Sephora there. I love a good sheet mask as their a great hydration boost to the skin and so quick as well. This one was great and it had a lot of liquid on the sheet mask which is always great for sheet masks. Also this one smelt very fresh as well as it was a green tea one!

Would I repurchase?

Yes.

2. Simple Eye Makeup Remover

I’m a huge Simple lover and I loved every one of their products that I have tried as its super gentle on your skin and is free from chemical, artificial colouring and perfume. I had received this eye makeup remover in a gift set and it was a good product and did remove my eye makeup, however I always prefer a oil based product to remove my eye makeup, and I thoroughly enjoyed Simple’s dual effect eye makeup remover, so will go back to that soon!

Would I repurchase?

Yes.

3. GlamGlow SuperCleanse

I received this in a Birchbox, hence why it is a travel sized. To be honest, I didn’t enjoy this cleanser as the scent was very very strange and smelt very much like a toothpaste, so it was very strong. I haven’t actually used this up as I found that it had irritated my skin and my skin was a bit stinging after washing it off.

Would I repurchase?

No.

4. L’Oreal Hydra Genius Aloe Water

I’ve probably raved about this multiple times over on my Instagram and in a post before but this is the best lightweight moisturiser I’ve ever tried! Its super thin and lightweight and can actually be used as a serum as well. It gives a really nice hydration and moisture to my skin and I really like it. I already have another bottle in my stash!

Would I repurchase?

Yes.

5. BeautyPro Eye Therapy Eye Mask

I love a good pair of eye patches, and these by BeautyPro was really good and I really enjoyed them! I received them in a Birchbox. I wouldn’t say they give intense hydration but they are enough for a quick pick me up.

Would I repurchase?

Yes.

6. Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer

I’m a huge lover of Bourjois makeup products as they work great on my skin and I really enjoy them. This concealer was okay, it had medium coverage but I had brought a shade dark for me which made it harder to use, but it cover my spots and blemishes and gave a slight glow as well, however I did find a better concealer than this right now. I would recommend this for people with oily skin!

Would I repurchase?

No.

7. Daily Concepts Soap Sponge Charcoal

I received this in a Birchbox as well, but I did not enjoy this in the slightest. It’s a soap made from charcoal hence why it’s black but it has a sponge on one side. The point of this is to cleanse your skin with the soap and foam it with the sponge, but the soap is so hard and harsh on your skin and it irritated mine.

Would I repurchase?

No.

8. Briegeo Leave in Conditioning Spray

This is again from a Birchbox, majority of the products in this months empties is from Birchbox tbh. This is a leave in conditioning spray that you use on damp hair and spray throughout. I really enjoyed this and it left my hair feeling so soft and easier to style as well.

Would I repurchase?

Yes.

9. Garnier Hydro Boost Eye Patches

These eye patches from Garnier are my favourite I’ve ever tried as their basically like a sheet mask but for your eyes, so its very hydrating and intense. This one has hyaluronic acid so its super hydrating on the skin! I wish they’d bring these out in more formulas as I love them!

Would I repurchase?

Yes!!

10. Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer

This is another bourjois concealer, I told ya I love this brand!! I’ve definitely enjoyed this concealer more than the other one, as it was my right shade and gave a really nice glowy and dewy finish to the skin!

Would I repurchase?

Yes.

11. What’s in it for me.. shower scrub

This is another product I received in my Birchbox. It’s a walnut and almond oil shower scrub with floral fragrance to it. I enjoyed using this as it wasn’t a thick, harsh scrub, it was quiet runny and had a lovely texture to it. It gently exfoliated my skin and left it feeling soft and smooth.

Would I repurchase?

Yes.

12. Gallinée Hydrating Face Cream

I was excited when I received this in a Birchbox as I heard great things about this brand but sadly this product didn’t work for me and I didn’t like the texture of it. It’s a honey face moisturiser and it just felt very sticky on my skin and didn’t smell nice at all. My skin did feel moisturised but in the morning after applying it the night before, my skin looked and felt very oily and just not nice at all.

Would I repurchase?

No.

13. ISANA Hydro Booster Sheet Mask

This is another product I had picked up when I was in turkey as they sell German skincare brands there. I was drawn to this mask as it stated that it gave intense hydration to the skin immediately which is what sheet masks do anyway. However, this face mask was very thick and didn’t have enough product on the mask, and the mask wouldn’t actually stay on my face properly.

Would I repurchase?

No.

14. Balanceme Congested Skin Serum

This is a serum that I received yet in another Birchbox lol, I thought I’d enjoy this as it was made from 99% natural ingredients, but the smell and feeling on my skin wasn’t good at all. It smelt heavily of botanical plants and it felt quiet sticky on my skin as well, so this was a pass for me.

Would I repurchase?

No.

15. Primark Berry Bellini Perfume

Finally on the last product, this is a travel sized perfume I had picked up from primark before my summer holiday so I can throw it in my bag when I was travelling during summer. This perfume had a very floral and sweet scent and I had enjoyed it tbh but its only something I’d probably buy when I am travelling just so there isn’t the risk of loosing or breaking my actual perfumes.

Would I repurchase?

No.

This is all of my product empties for the month of November, and I hope you enjoyed reading this post. Comment down below any products that you recognise from this blog post!

  1. I was looking into the Glamglow cleanser, I’m glad I came across your thoughts, it’s quite pricey and I don’t want to waste my money!x
